Cigarette Anagrams: The Truth is Inside

This piece is dedicated to an old friend named Saby, who used to smoke at least 20 ciggies a day. He was smoked out in early 2005 by a vicious disease called throat cancer.

STATUTORY WARNING: The anagrams presented here are purely of trivia value. I cannot be held responsible if this information is used as propaganda material by anti-smoking and cancer care lobbies.

Chesterfield: De Chest Rifle.

Benson & Hedges: Bends & He's Gone.

Charminar: I, Harm Narc.
(Note: Narc. is a short form for narcotic)

Virginia Slims: Is Grim Sin Vial.

Chancellor: Charon Cell.
(Note: In greek mythology, Charon is the boatman who takes souls to hell)

John Players Special: Jay Helps Nail Corpse.

Rothmans: Harms not.
(Even the surgeon general will have a smirk after reading this)

India Kings: Aid Sinking.

Hamlet: Halt me.
(And they say Hamlet is a cigar called happiness)

Bristol: Rib Lost.

Mild Seven: Mend Lives.

Marlboro Lites: Am Obits Roller.
(Obits is the short form for obituaries)

If you uncover more such anagrams, feel free to add to this list.
