The 104th Joke At Our Expense

On 27th December, 2005 when most of us were making plans for new year bashes, our parliamentarians were making plans for burying meritocracy. On that wretched day, 379 of the 381 members present in the Lok Sabha dared to pass the 104th Ammendment to our constitution providing reservations for the socially and educationally backward classes, in all private aided and unaided educational institutions. Minister of Generosity - Arjun Singh, is now using this very weapon to deliver the final blow. And as usual no one is protesting. All I can say is Mera Bharat Mahaan!
